Dr. Surekha P is a Associate Professor in the Electrical & Electronics Department at PES University.

Dr. Surekha P has completed her B.E Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in PARK College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, Masters Degree in Control Systems at PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. She has obtained her Ph.D degree in the faculty of Electrical Engineering, Anna University, Chennai, Tamilnadu. Her research work includes Computational Intelligence Paradigms for Engineering Applications. Presently, she is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, PES University, Bangalore.

She was a Rank Holder in both B.E and M.E Degree programme. She has received Alumni Award for best performance in curricular and co-curricular activities during her Masters Degree programme.

She is a member of Technical bodies like IE, ISTE. She has been serving as a reviewer for Journal of Soft Computing, Elsevier and for several IEEE sponsored International Conferences. She has published 7 books with leading publishers namely Springer, CRC Press., and 35 papers in International/National journals and International/National Conferences.
