Prof. Shreekanth M Prabhu
Prof. Shreekanth M Prabhu graduated from IIT Bombay with Masters Degree in Computer Science & Engineering in 1986. He has around 25 years of experience in industry, most recently with Hewlett Packard followed by 5 years of experience in academics. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. with VTU titled “Framework based on Network Models for managing Social Information”. He has played a key role in setting up Industry Institute Partnership Cell in the thematic area of Intelligent Social Systems under AICTE sponsorship at PES Institute of Technology. His research interests are in the areas of Data Science and Social Networks.
Dr . Mamatha H R
Dr. Mamatha H R has completed her doctoral program in Visvesvaraya Technological University in 2014. She has 18 + years of teaching experience and published 35+ international papers. Represented the college as a “Mentor” in the Windows Embedded Students Challenge Competition at Microsoft Campus, Redmond, Seattle, USA. Her current research interests include pattern recognition and image processing.
Prof. A Vinay
He received BE in Computer Science and Engineering from BMS College of Engineering and M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from SJC Institute of Technology. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at PES University in the field of Pattern Recognition specifically face recognition under the supervision of Dr. KNB Murthy and Dr. S Natarajan. His research interests center on improving the understanding, design, and performance of feature extraction techniques for face recognition systems, mainly through the application of machine learning, statistics and performance evaluation. He is guiding several research projects in the recognition of suspects from CCTV footage when moving footage is viewed. He has filed 3 Patents, published 12 papers in Journals including IET Computer Vision, Elsevier Procedia Computer Science and Elsevier Procedia Technology. He has published 5 papers in ACM, IEEE and IET conferences. He has bagged Elsevier’s Best Paper Award.

Prof. Parimala R obtained M. Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University. She has 9 years of teaching experience. In 2015, she published 3 papers in International conferences and journals. Her area of research includes Gesture Recognition, Data Mining, Image Processing and Machine Learning.
