Grievances Redressal Comittee (GRC)
About PES University Grievances Redressal Committee
The PES University established a Student Grievances Redressal Committee (SGRC) as per the notification of ‘UGC (Redressal of Grievances of Students) Regulations, 2023’ – dated 11th April 2023 (F.1-13/2022(CPP-II). SGRC aims to provide opportunities for redressal of certain grievances of students already enrolled in the University, as well as those seeking admission to the University, and a mechanism to address grievances.
PESU GRC Composition
Objective of GRC
- To encourage the Students to express their grievances / problems freely and frankly, without any fear of being victimized.
- To set up a mechanism for speedy and expeditious resolution of the grievance.
- To provide appropriate counseling to the students in the process of resolving the grievance.
- To promote cordial relationships amongst the students.
Functions of GRC
- To review the complaints received by the GRC.
- To follow the principles of natural justice in considering the grievances.
- To report with recommendations, if any, to the Vice Chancellor
- To conduct the surveys to identify the problems of students and provide suitable solutions.
